Uproot Andy au Karnival de Poirier ce vendredi

Depuis son apparition sur notre radar à la fin de l’année 2008 avec son Guaracharaca mix, Uproot Andy a toujours été un de nos producteurs favoris. Je me souviens que Bendude m’harcelait pour le faire venir à Montréal, ce que j’ai fait en février 2009 lors de ma soirée Boomboxx aux cotés de Radio Radio. Je ne crois pas qu’il soit revenu à Montréal depuis cette soirée et c’est donc une excellente nouvelle qu’il soit l’invité de Poirier pour sa soirée Karnival ce vendredi! A ne pas rater!

Aussi, Uproot sera présent ce vendredi à l’émission de Masala à 21hrs pour une petite prestation!  (Oui oui, Masala change de jours et d’heure. Plus d’infos a venir!!)

Notting Hill Carnival / Red Bull-Major Lazer Party

Notre ami Poirier était au Carnaval de Notting Hill pour jouer sur le Sound System RedBull/Major Lazer lundi dernier. Gros gros après-midi avec plein de gros noms comme Sticky, Joker, David Rodigan et Major Lazer bien sûr. Vous pouvez réécouter tous les sets sur le site de Red Bull qui a diffusé le tout en direct sur internet. Palance!

Dub Boy for those who don’t remember here in Montreal was the first guest of Porier’s first Karnival. this guy from Bristol is the founder of Ruffnek Diskotek and Steak House Records , who is doing a bass underground bashment UK party. I was really amazed by what he was doing during Karnival. For those who hadn’t have a chance to see his set in Montreal or in Bristol, here’s a great mix of what he’s doing.
