Toujours plus de nouvelles du coté de Peligrosa à Austin, TX. Sonora publie aujourd’hui son premier EP en collaboration avec le groupe animé par Dj Orion (voir sa plus récente mixtape). Sonora a conçu l’un de mes remixes préférés de Cumbia traditionelle de la côte Colombienne et on y retrouve un peu de son talent dans cet EP disponible gratuitement ou sur contribution sur Bandcamp:

Thanks to Tropical Bass for pointing out this collaboration between Switzerland’s producer Pushking Noize and Dama Do Bling from Mozambique. It brought back this lady on Masalacism’s radar and it’s time for an update!

We really liked her track Mexer a couple years ago (along side the defunct Fat Planet) and sort of lost track of her productions since then. Well, she’s been building a strong career as the portuguese-speaking answer to empowering female MCs of the US rap game and JA’s badda badda gals; “I’m scandalous and irreverent” she says in interviews.
